The MISSION of the Judicial System of Virginia is to provide an independent, accessible, responsive forum for the just resolution of disputes in order to preserve the rule of the law and to protect all rights and liberties guaranteed by the United States and Virginia constitutions.
To assist in the implementation of this Mission, the Clerk's Office of the Virginia Beach Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court is strongly committed to ensuring that all of the agencies, attorneys, and individuals who interact with the court, regardless of the reason for such interaction, are provided prompt and courteous services; given complete and accurate responses to their questions and concerns; and are treated with dignity and respect.
This court also handles foster care. Associated with the Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court is a court service unit that serves the court and facilitates the rehabilitation or treatment of those who come before the court.
The Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court staff is available to answer general questions and to assist you as you do business with the Court.
